Norman Charles John (Norm) Stieg, 81, of Carmel, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2008. He was born in Lyons, IL on May 6, 1927, the son of Paul and Cleo Stieg. He served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal during World War II. He was a member of Baker’s Corner Wesleyan Church Baker’s Corner, IN and the American Legion.Norm is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deborah Mary (Dotts) Stieg; a daughter, Janet L (Robert L) Anderson; three sons, Matthew R. Stieg, Douglas C Stieg, Ronald C Stieg; two grandchildren, April and Erin; his mother, Cleo; and a brother, Burton (Peggy) Stieg; special sister in law, Judy (Jay), Jane Sarniak, Sharon Sulda; brother in laws, Jim and Jack (Lucille) Dotts; plus his two beloved furry companions, Chipper and Maggie Ann. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul; first wife, Marilyn; and mother in law, Annabelle Dotts.A Private family service was held.
